The Chatroom:
(2000, SABC 1): A talk show debating ethical, moral, and social issues, inviting diverse viewpoints from the public and experts. Now in it’s 18th season.
It’s Gospel Time:
(2004, SABC 2): A gospel music and talk show celebrating local gospel stars, offering a platform for new talent, hosted by Rebecca Malope. Now in its 17th season.
Big Up:
(2007, SABC 1): Celebrates young South Africans making a difference in their communities by pairing them with local music stars to create music videos. With two Saftas, this ran for 7 seasons.
I Want to Sing Gospel:
(2008, SABC 2): A reality talent search for the next gospel music star, showcasing contestants’ journey and performances. This show created gospel stars who now top the charts. It ran for 3 seasons.
Shay’ingoma:
(2014, Mzansi Magic Music): Focuses on traditional and contemporary gospel music, blending performances and interviews with artists. This show ran for 2 seasons.
Verified:
(2017, SABC 1): A youth-oriented magazine show that explores various aspects of urban culture, from music to fashion and beyond. Now in it’s second season.
Dijo Le Bophelo:
(2016, SABC 2): A health and wellness show that focuses on the importance of a balanced diet and healthy living choices. Now in it’s 3rd season.
RSVP: Dare To Change:
(2017, SABC 2): Inspires viewers through stories of individuals who have made significant changes to improve their lives and communities. This show ran for 2 seasons.
Isibopho:
(2023, Mzansi): A drama series exploring deep societal issues through compelling storytelling and complex characters.
Playroom Live: (2023, Playroom Channel 300): An interactive live-to-air children’s show offering educational and entertaining content, featuring interactive segments and fun activities. This show educates and entertains South African tweens every afternoon on DSTV.
